Lib Dem’s councillors promote a more Dementia friendly Yate Shopping Centre
Lib Dem Cllrs Sandra Emms and Jane Price of Yate Town Council have worked in partnership with Yate Shopping Centre to make the area more dementia friendly.
Yate Central Liberal Democrats are a experienced and enthusiastic group of local volunteers who are determined to improve life in the ward. Improving infrastructure for cycling and walking, and better bus services are especially prominent in their campaigns. Maintaining and improving amenities and services for older residents and young people are other important emphasises. Protecting the local environment and addressing the Climate Emergency are themes that influence many aspects of this work. Like other South Gloucestershire Liberal Democrats, they champion a Council that is responsive and accountable to the Public.
John and Sandra received nearly 1500 more votes than their Conservative opposition in the 2023 local elections.
